Healthy State, More than Just Health.
A healthy state goes beyond the concept of health. It is the bettering of quality of life; it is our natural healing capacity, of keeping our mind in harmony, optimizing our natural bodily response to the changing conditions of health.
Today’s medicine takes us beyond the realm of the merely biological. For traditional medicine the advent of holistic medicine has created a new order for treatment of the most common diseases of the population at large.
A healthy state could be understood as a balance between the physical, mental, spiritual and its relation to health.
In Gynaecology this knowledge is vital, for the diversity of diseases experienced by women and characteristics pertaining to the production of hormones in different stages of life and the direct implications on women’s health.
Tai Chi, aromatherapy, acupressure, acupuncture, music therapy, aqua therapy, and yoga, are some examples of alternative treatments.
After a medical consultation, when women experience surgery or a long term treatment, pregnancy, urgent or reconstructive surgery, changes in puberty, menopause among others, it’s possible that the following reasoning (s) may be useful:
- Follow the advice of your treating physician.
- Do not abandon treatment without medical indications.

- Search for spiritual peace.
- Improve mental condition.
- Positivism to the max.
- Believe in yourself.
- Listen to good advice.
- Decrease stress.
- Be aware of those around you.
When you have received bad news, and you have a medical condition, remember first to meditate, without losing control. You should hold the reins of your life, because it has implications for many other persons.
It may not be wise to be carried away by impulse, that way of not connecting the mind with actions. Time is needed to think things through. . Some people might be of assistance, give adequate answer to your feelings. Negative people, simply do not listen or ignore them. What you are dealing with is your self, your feelings.
The power is in your mind; if you are mentally strong, overcome impulses. So learn to relax and meditate, with positivism, look around you, think of the pro’s and the con’s but feel sure of yourself.
You might not need to have bad news to begin an improvement process on quality of life, health wise. Preventively, a person should think of his/her habits, could write down those that in one way or the other are damaging your health. Later, intelligently, go over what should be done to improve them.
Physical exercise, a balanced diet, avoiding drugs and alcohol, spending moments of adequate leisure and improving stress management are the bases for a balance between mind and body. There is space in open places where people can search for relaxation, decrease stress, complemented with what a person could do to stimulate the senses, allowing for a better health.
SPA, turbulent waters, massage sessions, Turkish bath, swimming, meditation, relaxation exercises, everything is a gift to the body, mind, spirit, and have confidence in medicine.
In Switzerland there is a race, held in summertime; teams of four people of both sexes participate. They cross the mountains of that country, competing to give away earnings to different social causes. One of the competitors had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She was receiving the fourth dose of chemotherapy at that moment, she didn’t have a single strand of hair, but with an impressive force, this lady decided to show that disease would not make her yield. Her determination would be an example for other people. This she achieved, winning the competition; and she didn’t abandon the treatment either.
There are many examples as this. You should think of your interests, those of the people around you. Your lifetime project is unique, in health or disease. The most natural medicine is the one each of us carries inside. With peace in our spirits and around us; if you believe in God, this is a good time to benefit from the inner world, strength guiding you and to proceed likewise. In the same line of thought, search for spiritual peace so life becomes more fruitful.
A healthy state is in itself something abstract, but you can feel it. In disease or in health we all have the chance to experience quality health. We should not miss any opportunity to believe in our body, mind, in spirit and in society.
